Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By October 20, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 78,936.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (68,216) and those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 10,720+). 

By October 20, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 170,361. 

Note: On October 19, 2025, 10 martyrs have been added as a correction to the death toll, as a result of verification and confirmation by the judicial committee overseeing reports of missing persons.

By October 20, 2025, according to news report, 1,044 Palestinians who were killed, 7,253 who were injured, and 19,229 who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children.

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Despite ceasefire, Gaza death toll continues to rise, reaching 68,216 since October 2023

GAZA, October 20, 2025 (WAFA, PIC)-

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 57 bodies, including 45 killed directly by Israeli forces’ fire and 12 recovered from under the rubble, along with 158 injured individuals, were brought to hospitals in Gaza over the past 24 hours.

Thus, despite the ceasefire that came into effect in Gaza on October 11, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip continues to rise, with the toll reaching 68,216, mostly women and children, since the onset of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. More than 170,361 others have also been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.

Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025, at least 80 Palestinians have been killed and 303 others have been injured. The bodies of 426 Palestinians have also been recovered.

47 Palestinians killed by Israeli army gunfire and bombardment across Gaza since dawn today

In a breach of the ceasefire agreement, medical sources reported that 47 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli army gunfire and bombardment in various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Four of the victims were brought to Al-Shifa Hospital, 24 to Al-'Awda Hospital, two to the Baptist Hospital, 12 to Al-Aqsa Hospital, and five to Nasir Hospital.

The casualties were distributed as follows: six in the northern Gaza Strip, 36 in the central areas, and five in the southern part of the Strip.

Two citizens were killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fire east of Gaza City on Monday.

A medical source at the Baptist Hospital reported that two citizens were killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fire in the Al-Sha'af area of ​​the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

According to medical sources, 44 citizens were killed yesterday by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fire in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that the death toll from the IOF's aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,159 while 170,203 others wounded since October 7, 2023.

 Israeli strike on Gaza kills two Palestinians

An Israeli strike on Gaza City on Monday evening killed two Palestinians, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that Israeli bombardment targeted the Sha'f neighborhood in the city, claiming the lives of two people.

Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on 11 October, Israel has committed over 80 violations of its terms, killing 80 Palestinians and injuring 303 others. The bodies of 426 slain Palestinians have been recovered so forth.

In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 57 slain Palestinians, including 45 directly targeted by Israeli bombing and 12 whose bodies were recovered from the rubble, in addition to 158 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 68,216 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 170,361 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.

 Israeli occupation forces kill three Palestinian civilians in Gaza City

Three Palestinian civilians were martyred on Monday morning after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) east of Gaza City, marking yet another violation of the ceasefire.

This shooting incident came just one day after a deadly Israeli escalation that left 45 Palestinians dead and dozens wounded.

A medical source said that an ambulance crew evacuated the bodies of two martyrs who were shot by Israeli snipers while attempting to check on their homes in Gaza City’s El-Sha’af street.

Shortly afterward, a third civilian was reportedly shot dead in the east of Gaza City.

The body of a woman was also recovered today following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Abu El-Sa’ada family’s home yesterday in the Armida area of Bani Suhayla town, east of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip. The woman, identified as Shama Abu Raida, joined her two children, Salah and Mira, who were martyred in the strike.

In a related context, the Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza has said that since the ceasefire took effect in the Gaza Strip, the IOF had committed 80 documented violations.

“These breaches have resulted in the martyrdom of 97 Palestinians and injuries to more than 230 others with varying degrees of severity. Notably, 21 of these violations were recorded on Sunday alone,” PGMO said in a statement on Monday.

PGMO pointed out that these violations included “shooting attacks on civilians, deliberate shelling of residential areas, the use of fire belts, and arrests.”

Palestinian elderly detainee dies in Israeli hospital

RAMALLAH, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian elderly detainee from the Gaza Strip has died in an Israeli hospital, the General Authority for Civil Affairs announced on Monday.

The Authority informed both the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) that 69-year-old Kamil Mu'hammed Ma'hmoud Al-'Ajrami had died at Israel’s Soroka Hospital on October 10, 2025, after being transferred there from the Naqab Prison, where he had been held.

The Commission and the PPS said in a joint statement that Al-Ajrami, a father-of-six-children, had been arrested by Israeli occupation forces on October 25, 2024.

With Al-Ajrami’s death, the number of Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli custody since the onset of Israel’s genocidal aggression on Gaza in October 2025 has risen to 80, all of whom have been identified, at a time when dozens of other detainees have been subjected to forced disappearance.

They described the current period as the “bloodiest” since 1967, as the total number of documented cases of Palestinian detainees who died in Israeli imprisonment has reached 317, at a time when the occupation authorities continue to withhold the bodies of 88 prisoners, including 77 whose bodies have been withheld since the onset of the Gaza genocidal aggression.

Serious deterioration in health of detained leader Shaikh El-Natsha amid reports of memory loss

Recently freed Palestinian prisoners have sounded the alarm over the deteriorating health of senior resistance leader Shaikh Mu'hammed Jamal El-Natsha, revealing that he has reportedly lost his memory and is in critical condition inside Israeli prisons.

According to former detainees released in the latest prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the Palestinian resistance, the 70-year-old Shaikh El-Natsha suffers from multiple chronic illnesses, severe memory loss, and cognitive decline. They accused the Israeli occupation authorities of deliberate medical neglect, refusing to transfer him to a hospital or provide necessary treatment.

Fellow prisoners described his condition as worsening by the day, urging immediate medical and humanitarian intervention to save his life. They called on international human rights organizations to pressure Israel to grant him immediate medical care.

Shaikh El-Natsha is among the most prominent leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement ('Hamas) in the city of El-Khaeel (Hebron). He has been arrested dozens of times since the 1980s, spending over 20 years in Israeli jails, mostly under administrative detention without charge or trial.

The Asra Media Office (AMO) held Israel fully responsible for his life, accusing the Israeli occupation forces of attempting to assassinate and slowly kill the elderly leader through systematic torture and medical neglect. The Office described these acts as part of a long record of crimes committed against Palestinian detainees.

In a statement issued in mid-April, AMO said El-Natsha, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, is one of the most prominent figures of the Palestinian prisoners’ movement, having spent over 23 years in Israeli prisons, mostly under administrative detention. His current imprisonment, it warned, is the harshest and most dangerous due to the violent torture and clear attempts on his life.

Known for his powerful sermons and tireless advocacy for national unity, Shaikh El-Natsha has long been a unifying figure in al-Khalil’s religious and social life, championing the cause of Palestinian prisoners and their rights.

 Israeli occupation forces shoot and injure youth near the apartheid wall north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

A young man was injured on Monday morning with live ammunition in the foot near the apartheid wall in the town of al-Ram, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews transferred a 22-year-old man to the hospital after Israeli occupation forces shot him in the foot while he was near the apartheid wall in al-Ram town.

Several citizens were killed by Israeli occupation forces near the apartheid wall in the town, the most recent of whom was Saleem Raji 'Hasan Abu 'Aisha, 57, from the town of Zababda, after being severely beaten by Israeli occupation soldiers.

PPS: Palestinian detainee in Israeli jail shot with rubber bullets, denied treatment despite severe illness

RAMALLAH, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) confirmed today that detainee and lawyer 'Azmi Nadir Abu Hulayil, who has been held in Israel’s Ofer detention center since December 2024, is suffering from severe health complications after contracting scabies last April, without receiving the necessary medical treatment for more than six months.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said in a statement that Abu Hulayil’s condition has deteriorated critically, as abscesses have spread across his body, accompanied by visible cracks and sores, as observed during the latest visit to Ofer detention center.

The detainee, from the town of Dura in Hebron, was subjected to a violent assault by prison forces last September after repeatedly demanding medical treatment, during which the forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets at him, further aggravating his already fragile health condition.

According to the statement, Abu Hulayil, 32, currently suffers from severe itching, painful ulcers, and sleep deprivation, while continuing to be denied medical care. He has also experienced a sharp loss of weight, dropping to 49 kilograms, as a result of a systematic starvation policy imposed against him.

PPS noted that Abu Hulayil is one among thousands of detainees who have contracted scabies inside Israeli prisons, where the disease has become a form of torture due to the deliberate neglect imposed by the Israeli Prison Administration.

The prison administration deliberately maintains conditions that cause the disease by depriving detainees of cleaning and disinfecting materials, denying them regular showers, and limiting them to a single set of clothing.

Prisoners are also forced to hand-wash their clothes and are prevented from drying them in open air, leaving them damp and contributing to the spread of skin diseases.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society affirmed that the prison administration continues to ignore the detainees’ repeated demands to receive medical treatment or transfer the sick to clinics, turning the spread of epidemics and skin diseases into one of the most evident forms of systematic abuse, which has worsened since the onset of the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023, and has led to the killing of several detainees.

PPS also noted that legal efforts made by specialized organizations, including petitions to Israel’s High Court to compel the prison administration to provide medical treatment and eliminate the causes of the disease, were met with only formal and limited responses. As a result, the disease has reemerged and spread once again in central prisons such as Negev and Ofer.

It affirmed that the continuation of this policy reflects the prison system’s deliberate intent to kill detainees, using the denial of medical treatment as a tool of torture, in what constitutes medical crimes.

PPS said that detainees in Israeli prisons are facing an escalating health catastrophe, along with ongoing repression and daily violations, as part of a systematic policy aimed at torturing and gradually killing Palestinians held in Israeli prisons.

It stressed that the Israeli occupation authorities do not conceal their criminal intentions, as openly expressed by extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir through his repeated calls to enact legislation allowing the execution of detainees and to shoot them in the head instead of detaining them.

PPS further noted that the profound changes witnessed in the reality of detainees following the genocide have led to dangerous and unprecedented developments, turning their situation into a direct continuation of the genocide and one of its most evident ongoing manifestations.

Palestinian injured, others kidnapped by IOFs in the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

A Palestinian citizen was injured and others were kidnapped after the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) stormed different areas of the West Bank and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), last night and on Monday morning.

According to local sources, a young man suffered a bullet injury when the IOFs at the Qalandya checkpoint in northern Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) opened fire at him.

The Red Crescent said that its paramedics evacuated a young man who sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh at the Qalandya checkpoint in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

The Israeli occupation regime police forces also kidnapped a young man after ransacking his home at dawn in Bait Duqqu, in the northwest of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens during dawn raids on homes in different areas of the Province.

The Israeli occupation forces also detained and interrogated 15 other citizens during a campaign in El-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah.

Two young men were taken prisoner during IOFs raids in Qabatya town, south of Jineen, and Nablus City’s Rafeedya neighborhood.

The IOFs raids took place in other West Bank areas, with no reported kidnappings.

El-Khaleel (Hebron): Israeli occupation forces obstruct teachers and students from accessing schools

El-Khaleel (Hebron), October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) on Monday obstructed students and teachers from Cordoba School from reaching their school, prevented parents from passing through and from reaching their homes, and detained them outside the Shuhada Street military checkpoint in the center of El-Khaleel (Hebron).

WAFA correspondent reported that IOFs stationed at the military checkpoint closed the checkpoint and prevented students and teachers from Cordoba Mixed Elementary School from reaching their school and parents from reaching their homes in Tel Rumaida and on Shuhada Street. They detained them outside the checkpoint.

 Israeli occupation forces deploy vehicles, infantry troops in Toulkarm city

Toulkarm, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) deployed heavy military vehicles and infantry units in Toulkarm city on Monday morning, specifically around the street leading to the Thabit Thabit Governmental Hospital.

WAFA correspondent reported that IOF closed the street, obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians. They also raided the Al-Adawiya commercial building in the area and climbed onto its roof. They detained a number of citizens and subjected them to field interrogation, but no arrests were reported.

This escalation coincides with the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city and its two refugee camps, Toulkarm and Nour Shams, for the 267th consecutive day. The IOF imposed a tight siege, preventing residents from entering, and opening fire on anyone who tries to approach.

The occupation forces also tightened their siege on Toulkarm refugee camp, installing iron gates at the entrances to several neighborhoods, particularly those from the western side. They also placed earth mounds in the eastern neighborhood of the city adjacent to the camp, after seizing several homes from residents in that area.

273 days of Israeli aggression on Jineen: Raids, kidnappings, and heroic resistance

For the 273rd consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) have continued their aggression on Jineen and its refugee camp, launching wide-scale raids, kidnappings, live-fire attacks on civilians, and deliberate property destruction, all met with fierce and heroic resistance from Palestinian fighters.

The Jineen Media Committee said in a statement on Monday that Israeli forces carried out repeated incursions into the city’s southern and eastern towns and refugee camps, arresting dozens of residents and assaulting civilians, patients, and farmers. The committee warned of a dangerous escalation in daily violations.

The committee pointed out that prisoner Ma'hmoud Talal 'Abdullah, from Jineen refugee camp, died in Israeli custody after a long battle with cancer due to deliberate medical neglect that worsened his condition.

His death behind bars, it added, exposes Israel’s systematic policy of slow killing of sick detainees. Abdullah had been detained at the start of the Israeli military operation in the Jineen refugee Camp after being ordered to surrender.

In a separate incident, Saleem Raji 'Hasan Al-Far, from the town of Al-Zababda south of Jineen, was beaten to death by IOFs near the separation wall in Al-Ram, north of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), while on his way to work. His funeral drew hundreds of mourners across the governorate.

Meanwhile, the IOF continued its military campaign in Qabatya, in southern Jineen, where they kidnapped Aws Majid Hanaysha after raiding his home, along with 'Hammouda Ma'hmoud Dhubai', Usayd Ma'hmoud Dhubai', and Luay Dhubai', sons of the slain fighter Ma'hmoud Dhubai'.

The raids, part of a wider campaign targeting families of martyrs and resistance members, left one elderly woman injured after being shot in the foot amid heavy clashes.

In Ya’bad, southwest of Jineen, the IOFs launched its second raid within 24 hours, storming the Abu Safat building and deploying snipers on rooftops while drones hovered overhead and soldiers spread across the area.

The Israeli occupation soldiers also assaulted an ambulance driver from Barta'a Medical Center who was transporting a cancer patient, breaking his left arm and injuring his eye, despite prior coordination for safe passage through the Dothan military checkpoint.

The assault extended to several towns, including El-Zababda, 'Arraba, Misaliya, and Umm El-Toot, where intense confrontations broke out between Palestinian youth and IOFs troops. Helicopters hovered at low altitude over Jineen’s southern neighborhoods.

Separately, worker 'Hasan Mu'hammed Shami Al-Sumoudi, from El-Yamoun, was shot near the separation wall in Al-Ram, while the illegal Israeli settlers, under the Israeli occupation army protection, attacked Palestinian olive pickers in Kafr El- Ra'i, causing several cases of suffocation among farmers.

The IOFs raids also targeted the villages of Rummanah, El-Funduqoumiya, and El-'Hafeera, near Qabatya, as well as El-Mara'h neighborhood in Jineen city, where the Israeli occupation forces vandalized memorials honoring Palestinian martyrs, an act residents described as a reflection of Israel’s hatred and vengeance against the city and its people.

Since the beginning of Israel’s aggression on January 21, 2025, at least 65 Palestinians have been martyred in Jineen, including four shot dead by Palestinian Authority security forces.

Meanwhile, more than 46 young men from the Jineen refugee camp, including resistance fighters from the Jineen Brigade, remain detained by the Palestinian Authority since the start of the Israeli assault, facing torture and inhumane treatment in detention.

 Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozed agricultural lands in El-Khaleel (Hebron) city and Bait Ummar town, north of the city.

WAFA correspondent reported that IOF, backed by military reinforcements, raided the Bir 'Arkah area, northwest of El-Khaleel (Hebron), and bulldozed agricultural lands and stone terraces totaling approximately 70 dunums, owned by El-Zughayir, El-Qawasima, and El-'Aqnibi families, among others.

Mu'hammed 'Awwad, a media activist in Bait Ummar, told WAFA that IOFs stormed citizens' lands planted with grape trees near Bait El-Baraka, north of El-Khaleel (Hebron), and proceeded to bulldoze lands owned by Suhail Mu'hammed 'Husain Brighith and Akram Jabra Awadh.

Illegal Israeli settler groups continue attacking Palestinian property and citizens in the West Bank

Groups of the illegal Israeli settlers, protected by the Israeli occupation forces, have continued their daily attacks on Palestinian property and civilians across the West Bank, in a pattern that reflects a systematic policy aimed at imposing control over their land and terrorizing them.

In El-Zuwaideen village, south of al-Khalil, settlers continued to assault Palestinian citizens and prevent them from reaching their swaths of land in an attempt to impose their control over the area.

In the agricultural area of Sa'hil Rameen, east of Toulkarm, a horde of armed settler savagely assaulted farmers yesterday, attacking them with stones and clubs and destroying their crops — all under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.

In Shallal El-'Auja, a village north of Jericho, settlers continued to release their livestock near residents’ homes, as a daily provocative practice aimed at imposing a new fait accompli and forcing the villagers to leave the area.

In the northern Jordan Valley, a group of settlers recently fenced off more than 4,000 dunums of agricultural land, which is legally owned by around 40 Palestinian families.

These seized dunums are considered among the most fertile agricultural areas in the Jordan Valley and are officially owned by Palestinian families, who have land registration documents, according to local activist Ayman Ghareeb.

Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile Al-Aqsa Mosque

Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Monday morning, amid tight restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site.

According to local sources, at least 73 settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection.

During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site.

In a related context, Palestinian religious and national figures and institutions have urged Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque to protect it against desecration by Jewish settlers.

Armed illegal Israeli settlers attack Umm Safa near Ramallah

A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli occupation forces, attacked this evening the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, according to a local official.

Marwan Sabba'h, head of the Umm Safa Village Council, told WAFA that the armed illegal Israeli settlers attacked residents harvesting olives in the western area of the village, opened fire toward them, and chased one resident from the Joudah family to his home in the area.

The settlers also opened fire toward the Joudah family homes; however, no injuries were reported.

Israeli forces later stormed the village from the western side to provide protection for the colonists, leading to confrontations; however, no injuries or detentions were reported.

The Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers attacked today Palestinian olive pickers in the town of Kafr El-Ra’i, south of Jineen, according to local sources.

Sources said that several colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked farmers and olive pickers while they were harvesting olives in the town. Forces joined the attack and opened live fire toward olive pickers to force them to leave their lands.

Agricultural lands have been repeatedly targeted during the annual olive harvest season by colonists and the Israeli occupation army, preventing farmers from accessing their lands, inflicting heavy material losses, and worsening their daily suffering.

Since October 7, 2023, colonists have carried out a total of 7,154 attacks against Palestinians and their properties, resulting in the killing of 33 Palestinians, and the damaging or uprooting of 48,728 trees, including 37,237 olive trees, according to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.

Illegal Israeli settler attack Palestinian olive pickers, steal olive harvest near Ramallah and Tulkarem

A group of the armed illegal Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli soldiers, carried out multiple attacks against Palestinian farmers today and stole the olive harvest in different areas of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

In the village of Ein Sinya, north of Ramallah, sources said that colonists stole the olive crops belonging to Palestinian farmers in the Wadi El-Balout area after chasing them out of their lands.

In a separate attack, colonists, under heavy protection from Israeli forces, stole the olive harvest belonging to Palestinians in the Rameen plain area, east of Tulkarem. Israeli forces also prevented farmers from accessing their lands and chased them at gunpoint.

Eyewitnesses told WAFA that groups of colonists physically assaulted farmer Mohammad Sanjaq, and stole his olive crops and farming equipment, while Israeli soldiers provided full cover during the attack.

The Rameen plain has been subjected to daily attacks by colonists, particularly during the olive harvest season, given their presence in an illegal pastoral outpost established on the area’s lands, from which they lead a series of organized attacks against farmers to prevent them from reaching their lands.

The illegal Israeli settlers intensify their attacks against Palestinian farmers during the olive harvest season, which is one of the main sources of income for Palestinians. They often coordinate their attacks with soldiers, who provide them with cover and protection.

'Abdul Majeed Khudairat, head of the Ibziq village council, told WAFA that a group of the illegal Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the school and threatened its staff with leaving immediately.

He added that they stole water tanks owned by Nabil Ahmad Sawafta, a resident of the area.

The school has witnessed several recent raids, as part of the escalating attacks by colonists and Israeli occupation forces in the area.

 IOAR seizes over 70 dunums of West Bank land for settlement activity

The Palestinian Authority’s Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said on Sunday that the Israeli occupation apartheid regimje (IOAR) had seized dozens of dunums of land from several Palestinian villages in Nablus province.

In a statement, the Commission explained that the IOAR appropriated 70 dunums and 147 square meters of Palestinian land for alleged military and security purposes in the villages of Qaryout, El-Lubban El-Sharqiya and El-Sawiya in Nablus province.

The Commission affirmed that the purpose of this land seizure is to establish a buffer zone around the illegal Israeli Eli settlement.

“The military order includes a provision allowing the submission of objections within one week of its issuance. However, the order is dated September 21, 2025, which means that the Israeli authorities published it only after the objection period had already expired,” the Commission said.

“Since the beginning of 2025, the occupation state has issued a total of 53 land seizure orders under different military pretexts, marking a notable increase in the use of such orders to take control of Palestinian land,” the Commission noted.

According to the Commission, the IOAR had seized during the past two years 55 dunums of Palestinian land and established 25 buffer zones around illegal settlements across the West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to 'Atara, north of Ramallah, on Monday morning.

WAFA correspondent said that the Israeli occupation forces closed the main entrance to Atara gate, forcing residents to take long routes.

The occupation forces also set up a checkpoint near the "Halmish" colony, located on El-Nabi Sali'h lands, and stopped a number of vehicles, searched them, and checked the IDs of their passengers, impeding the movement of residents.

According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission last September, the total number of military checkpoints and iron gates installed by the occupation army in the West Bank has reached 910, including 83 gates since the beginning of 2025. Note that 247 iron gates were installed after October 7, 2023.

 Israeli occupation forces demolish Palestinian-owned farm in town of El-Za'ayim east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

The Israeli occupation forces today demolished a Palestinian-owned farm near the town of El-Za'ayim, east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), under the pretext of being built without an Israeli-issued permit.

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate said in a statement that Israeli bulldozers demolished a farm belonging to a Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) resident identified as Farouq Mustafa in the Rawabi El-'Eisawiya area, near El-Za'ayyim, citing construction without a permit.

The landowner, Mustafa, said in the statement that Israeli forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the farm and demolished a 150-square-meter tin shack and a 100-square-meter agricultural canopy. They also leveled the fence surrounding the eight-dunum plot, causing extensive damage to the farm.

The Governorate condemned this act as part of the occupation’s accelerated colonial settlement policy aimed at implementing the E1 colonial plan, which seeks to empty Palestinian lands east of Jerusalem and annex them for the benefit of colonial settlement expansion.

This, it stressed, would further isolate the city from its Palestinian surroundings in the West Bank and undermine the establishment of a geographically contiguous Palestinian state.

The said plan puts around 7,000 Palestinians, residing in 22 communities across the Jerusalem desert area, at risk of forcible displacement.

In August, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the approval of plans to construct 3,401 housing units near the colonial settlement of Ma’ale Adumim, along with 3,515 additional units in the surrounding area.

Smotrich said the plan would link Ma’ale Adumim with Jerusalem and sever Arab territorial continuity between the governorates of Ramallah and Bethlehem.

According to the United Nations, colonial settlement construction in the occupied Palestinian Territory is illegal and undermines the prospects of a two-state solution.

The Israeli human rights group Peace Now previously described this plan as essentially fatal to the prospect of a two-state solution because it divides the West Bank into two – a northern and a southern region – and prevents the development of the central Ramallah-East Jerusalem-Bethlehem metropolis in the West Bank.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy: Imposing sanctions against Israel remains on the table

LUXEMBOURG, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, said that options for imposing sanctions against Israel remain on the table until a real and sustained change on the ground occurs, including more aid reaching Gaza.

During press remarks following a meeting of EU foreign ministers held in Luxembourg today, Kallas noted that the European ministers assessed the situation on the ground in Gaza following the ceasefire.

On September 10, the European Commission announced proposals to impose sanctions on Israel, the occupying power.

The proposed measures included restrictions such as suspending the provisions on the free movement of goods under the EU–Israel Association Agreement, imposing customs duties, and introducing sanctions against colonists involved in seizing lands in the occupied Palestinian Territory, as well as against the two Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich.

Spain supports maintenance of sanctions on Israel

LUXEMBOURG, October 20, 2025 (WAFA) –

Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares supported on Monday the maintenance of EU sanctions on Israel.

Addressing journalists ahead of the EU Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Luxembourg, Albares said: “We are far from achieving everything we want—final peace, a permanent ceasefire, humanitarian aid, [and] a two-state solution,” as reported by Armenia-based NEWS.am.  

He stressed that “it is currently necessary to uphold sanctions” against Israel.

On September 15, the European Commission announced a proposal to suspend certain trade-related provisions of the Association Agreement between the EU and Israel and sanctions on two Israeli ministers.

Separate from the proposal, the Commission had announced that it was also freezing its bilateral support to Israel, a step that “affects future yearly allocations between 2025 and 2027, as well as ongoing institutional cooperation projects with Israel and projects funded under the Regional EU-Israel cooperation facility.”

The Commission had explained that the suspension “concerns the core trade-related provisions of the Agreement, and in practice means that imports from Israel will lose their preferential access to the EU market. These goods will therefore be charged duties at the level applied to any other third country with whom the EU has no free trade agreement.”

The EU is Israel's biggest trading partner, accounting for 32% of Israel's total trade in goods with the world in 2024. Israel is the EU's 31st largest trading partner.

Total trade in goods between the EU and Israel in 2024: €42.6 billion. The EU's exports to Israel amounted to €26.7 billion.
